When is the Summer Smash 2019?

This years festival takes place on Saturday, June 29th and Sunday, June 30th, 2019.

What is the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2?

There is no difference between the Tiers, Tier 1 was offered earlier at a discounted price.

Where is the Summer Smash Festival taking place?

The Summer Smash Festival is taking place in the prestigious Douglas Park in Chicago. The main entrance will be at the corner or Ogden Avenue and Sacramento Drive.

How old do I have to be to attend Summer Smash?

All ages are welcome to attend!

Where is Will Call?

Will Call will be located on Ogden Avenue just east of Sacramento Drive. Stay tuned for the release of our Site Map for further guidance.

What time does Will Call open and close?

Will Call hours will be as follow:
-Friday, June 28th - 3:00pm-7:00pm
-Saturday, June 29th - 10:00am-9:00pm
-Sunday, June 30th - 10:00am-9:00pm

When will wristbands be shipped out?

Wristbands have started shipping! If you have not received your wristband by June 25th, please reach out to SEE Tickets customer service. You can also login to your SEE Tickets customer portal to view your USPS tracking number and see exactly where your wristband is and when it will be arriving.

Will there be parking available at the festival?

Parking will be very limited, which is why we encourage you to use ride sharing apps and public transportation. Please refrain from parking on local residential streets as cars will be towed from prohibited areas. Check back for our parking map that will be released the week of the festival.

How do I get to the festival?

We encourage all of our attendees to utilize public transportation or ride sharing apps to get to the festival. Off-site parking is very limited and can get expensive. If you are using ride sharing apps such as Lyft or Uber, we will have designated pickup and drop off areas on Ogden Avenue. If you are using the CTA, the PINK line California stop is just a few blocks from the festival.

Is there a site map of the festival grounds?

Yes, a site map will be released soon. Sign up for our email list to be the first to receive it!

What time does Summer Smash start each day?

The festival begins at 12:00pm CST and ends at 9:45pm CST.

What forms of ID will be accepted?

Only government issued forms of ID will be accepted for will call or anything with age restrictions.

Are there any third party vendors for tickets?

No, tickets should only be purchased from thesummersmash.com or known direct affiliates.

15.

What is the age requirement for VIP tickets?

VIP age restrictions are the same as GA. However, you must be 21 or older to take advantage of any VIP amenities involving alcohol.

What size backpacks/bags will be allowed?

-Bag size may not exceed 14” x 11” x 5”.
-Bags will be restricted to small purses/clutch bags, totes, drawstring bags, fanny packs, and hip bags.
-Backpacks and bags with more than one single opening/pocket are prohibited.
-Hydration packs (must be empty upon entrance).

Will there be ATMs available at the festival?

Yes.

Will smoking e-cigs or cigarettes be permitted inside the festival?

Yes, but if you choose to bring either traditional cigarettes or any form of e-cigarette, please be MINDFUL OF THE GROUNDS.

Three.

Where can I find artist set times and locations?

We will be releasing set and stage times in the weeks leading up to the festival.

Will there be food vendors?

Yes, we will have a lot of Chicago food options available for purchase!

Can I exit and re-enter the festival?

There will be no re-entry after leaving festival grounds.

Can I bring a camera in?

You must submit a media pass request if you are interested in bringing a professional camera inside festival grounds.

Where can I put my stuff?

We will have lockers available for rent. Great place to keep any merch or items that you don’t want to carry all day!

Yes.

Will there be a lost and found booth? If so how can I find it?

Yes, our lost and found booth will be located near the entrance. Please refer to the festival map on site to locate.

Where can i find Safety and Medical info?

We will have a medical tent located on the north east corner of the site. Please refer to our site map for its location.

What can I bring into the festival?

Electronics:

NO: Audio recording devices. Drones, selfie sticks or tripods. Video cameras or detachable lens cameras without media pass. Walkie Talkies.

YES: Non Professional Cameras. GoPros and flip cams. Mobile phones and chargers.

Chemical Products and Hazards:

NO: Aerosol products/cans. Drugs or drug paraphernalia. Fireworks or explosives. Glass or metal containers. Laser pointers. Glow sticks or LED gloves. Pepper spray or mace. Sharpies, markers or paint pens. Weapons of any kind.

YES: Chapstick and lip balm. Non Aerosol Sunblock. Sealed and Unopened Eye drops. Hand sanitizer and baby wipes. Makeup. Sealed Unopened Over the counter Medication. Rx must have label with matching ID and all same pills - no mixing.

Food and Beverage:

NO: Metal, steel, or aluminum water bottles. Outside food or beverage.

YES: Empty, plastic, reusable, non-metal Water bottles. 32oz or smaller, 1 per guest.

Recreation:

NO: Chairs or coolers. Bicycles, skates, scooters, or skateboards. Hula hoops. Hoverboards or segways. Stuffed animals or inflatables. Umbrellas.

YES: Baby strollers. Binoculars. Sunglasses. Towels, sheets, and blankets.
